Have you ever been so set down in darkness and confusion, feeling like there is no way out and no light? Why are you downcast, oh my soul?

Part of the reason we get confusion in our lives is because of this Devil, for we know that the Devil is a deceiver and the father of lies, and there is no truth in him.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. It states it very plainly, Christ does not bring confusion at all because he is the light, and there is no darkness in light. He is the TRUTH and there is no room for lies or confusion with him because Truth will always rise above falsehood. Luke 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

When you come to know Christ, the simplicity of his love is AMAZING, you can see everything so clearly and things are not black and white anymore, this is like when you have your eyes opened, and God brings understanding, JOY and great peace. The Devil likes to deceive us all the time because he knows his time is short and because he is Evil. In the beginning in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were walking and talking with God, in spirit and in truth and they had no shame or uncertainty about anything. It was only when Satan temped Eve to eat of the forbidden fruit, that she became deceived and suffered greatly for it when she gave into that temptation, Into a world we now see today that has become cursed and downcast.

Galatians 1:3-5 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

See, God is the father of grace and peace, not of confusion or darkness or fear. In fact the devil likes to bring fear about in the most unusual ways, sometimes we will find ourselves worrying or fearful about something so stupid and we even will tell ourselves that we know its stupid but we still can’t seem to let it go. 2 Timothy 1:17 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. When we abide in Christ, he abides in us and we are no longer downcast and fearful. The Lord makes all of our paths straight again, and with the Lord is much understanding (if we are willing to accept his Truth), which when we have opens our eyes to our fears showing us that Nothing is impossible with God and all our problems we once had from the Deceiver, can be solved with God’s Word and his Holy Spirit divine power.

Galatians 1:6-9 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel. 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!

How come all these other religions bring about much confusion? As Jesus states in his Word, I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. There is no other religion, there is no other path to righteousness other than Christ Jesus, all the other religions will just bring about More Confusion and Uneasiness and it is because they are false. Is it worth suffering all of this, when we have the Truth right at our fingertips? The bible is the truth and if we will just be willing to accept it, God can transform us by the renewing of our minds, once this happens there is no room for confusion. In saying this I’m not saying we wont have tribulation in life, because God states we will. But God want’s us to lean on him with all our worries. When we do the evil spirits of confusion and fear will disappear and the more we lean on him, the easier it will become and the more we resist the enemy, the quicker he will flee from us.

God want’s you to accept him and give your life to him, for when we live with Christ we are not living in the flesh anymore but by faith, Trusting in God’s promises and his plan for our lives. Which is much more satisfying than trusting in the world. Wouldn’t you rather be full of JOY and satisfaction rather than having All the riches of the devil and suffering for it? Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 

So whenever you feel downcast, like the end is near and there must be no way out, just remember to look up, God will never forsake you or leave you. Jeremiah 29:11-13 ”For I know the thoughts I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” No matter what the situation God’s promises are forever and he is always with you, just remember to seek him and pray. Ask for his guidance in your life and don’t forget to Praise the Lord for his incredible mercies anew.
